Hazrat Dr. Mohammad Ismail Memon Madani was born in 1935 in a small town, known as Mangrole, in Junagadh state, India. After the partition of the Indian subcontinent, his family moved to Pakistan and settled in Karachi.

His quest for knowledge began while a young student. While completing his formal education in Medicine at the Dow Medical College, he also learned the Arabic language and other religious subjects at Darul-Uloom Karachi. In 1961, he completed his study of medicine and shortly thereafter, migrated to Saudi Arabia to serve as the official Medical Officer.

He was a sincere student of the prominent late Shaikhul Hadith, Shaikh Zakariya rahmatullahi alayh. who taught many Islamic Sciences in Madinah Munawarrah for almost 10 years. Hazrat Dr. Ismail’s regular attendance and devotion to his teacher quickly made him one of Shaikh Zakariya’s beloved students.

In 1967, he received Ijazah for Bai’yah from Shaikh Zakariya rahmatullahi alayh. He also had close friendship with the late Shaikh Abul Hassan Ali Nadwi rahmatullahi alayh.

He migrated from Madinat-ul-Munawwara to Canada with the intention of establishing an Islamic Educational Institution in 1986. After five years of hard work and struggle, he succeeded, with the blessing of Almighty Allah, in establishing the Darul-Uloom Al-Madania in Buffalo, New York. Presently, he has given up his practice of Medicine and keeps himself busy with the affairs of Darul-Uloom and the work of Deen.

Mufti Husain Ahmad

Mufti Husain Ahmad was born in the historical city of Badr in 1975. He obtained the early part of his education in the blessed city of Madinah Munawwarah. Later, he traveled to England to continue his education at the Darul-Uloom Bury.

For the final year of the Aalim course, he went to Darul-Uloom Karachi in 1994. Upon the instructions of his Shaikh, Mufti Mahmood Hasan Gangohi rahmatullahi alayh (the late grand Mufti of India), he went to Dabhel, India to pursue the Mufti course. He completed the Mufti course under the supervision of Hazrat Mufti Ahmad Khanpuri.

In 1997, Mufti Mahmood Hasan Gangohi rahmatullahi alayh granted him the Ijazah for Bai’yah through Mufti Ahmad Khanpuri.

Since then, he has been serving as the Mufti and teacher of Arabic, Fiqh, Hadith, and Tafseer at Darul-Uloom Al-Madania.

Shaykh Ibrahim Memon Madani

Shaikh Ibrahim Memon Madani was born in the blessed city of the Prophet image, Madinah Munawarrah, where he began his Hifz al Qur’an and study of hadith. As a young boy, he attended the lessons of the great Shaikh ul-Hadith, Shaikh Zakariya rahmatullahi alayh, winning his adoration and duas.

In 1980, upon instruction of Shaikh Zakariya rahmatullahi alayh, he left for England to study at Darul-Uloom Holocombe where he completed his Hifz ul-Qur'an and Aalim course.

In 1987, he moved to Waterloo, Canada to serve as Imam of the masjid. Four years later, he moved to Buffalo with his father and brothers to help establish Darul-Uloom Al-Madania.

In 1993, Hazrat Sufi Iqbal rahmatullahi alayh (a beloved student of the late Shaikh Zakariya rahmatullahi alayh) granted him Ijazah for Bai’yah.

Since 1991, Shaikh Ibrahim has been serving as an Imam for the Islamic Society of Niagara Frontier, and a teacher of Arabic, Fiqh, Hadith, and Tafseer at Darul-Uloom Al-Madania. He regularly lectures at colleges, churches, and Masajid all over the United States and abroad.

It is a requirement for when the girls leave the premises, or so it was when I was there.

islamically speaking its the best education u can get...

the old high school teacher(when i was there) was tuff and smart and made u learn alot. Now i heard its kinda shaky..allahu alam...most ppl from there usually go to a community college before transfering to univ.

in case no one noticed my avator is the madrasahs logo..wink.gif

also keep in mind the sisters teachers are different so i dont know how its for them...
