Ok so I have a habit of using my "Peelu" Miswak, followed by mouthwash, followed by brushing with a normal toothbrush and toothpaste...But i've noticed something within the last week or so.

Everytime I finish brushing with my miswak, my teeth appear so shiny and white, and every time I finish using toothpaste, my teeth have a horrible yellowish hue ... And that often results in me brushing with the miswak once again at the end just for good measure.

Seriously though what is UP ... are the toothpaste companies just out to make more money, or is it just my weird teeth? I love my miswak now smile.gif it's helped my teeth a lot i brush with it sometimes just for the heck of it at random times of the day.

What do y'all think

That just so happens to be the toothpaste in question....I wrote colgate in the title by mistake.

I use Crest Vanilla/Mint flavored toothpaste and it leaves my teeth yellow. Then I use my Peelu Miswak and I get my teeth shiny white again biggrin.gif

there are wierd ways to get your teeth cleaned. You could always take that peroxide stuff and put it on, don't let it touch your gums or they will burn! Seriously, it hurts like crazy!

I've never used a miswak in my life. I have a feeling you'll see this in the newspaper when I finally do....

What's with the yellow hue? I don't drink coffee, I don't smoke. Yet my teeth do not stay white after the dentist. What's up with that?

Me neither.

I lost mine after 3 days. I took it everywhere with me and then it was gone.

HEY! I like it OKAY!

It tastes better than mint alone...the combination makes it less gagging...

I would rather use my miswak and end up with a mouth full of wood chips, than use toothpaste...ugh Disgusting...but I need to for fresh breath...maybe I should just use mint gum?

That way I wouldnt have to put up with toothpaste yuckiness AND if i dont use it, it can't make my teeth yellow anymore biggrin.gif
